Museum Welcomes Visitors Back in a Healthy Manner
July 16, 2020
The Museum at Jackson Street Roundhouse has now reopened. “COVID-19 has kept our visitors at home for far too long,” said Scott Hippert, MTM Executive Director. “Over these past couple of weeks our guests have been returning and enjoying all the incredible experiences at the museum, including our Saturday train rides. It feels really good to see people enjoying themselves again, and we hope more visitors will come here and have a great time.”
Through the summer months, the museum will be open from 10:00-1:00 on Wednesdays and 10:00-3:00 on Saturdays. MTM is requiring all visitors to wear a face mask, practice social distancing, follow new one-way pathways through the exhibits, and get your temperature checked as you enter the building. Enhanced cleaning procedures are in place to keep everyone healthy and there is ample hand sanitizer available throughout the museum. Please book your advance tickets on this website.
